Black Bear in the Potrero Chico

Yesterday afternoon a large black bear wandered down to the mouth of the canyon and scared the dickens out of the climbers on the Scrutinizer Wall. He went through a guys pack, stole his lunch and sauntered back into the basin. |

I bet there's 8 grown men in that costume, and it's headed for the border. |

A friend has seen honest to goodness bear tracks in the desert. Animal sightings are a good omen in my book. |

Now they can keep the signs on the way into the Potrero!!! |
