Description Suggest change

Climb good hands in solid rock for ~10 feet into some very rotten rock. The rotten section is ~12 feet thick, with a strangely solid and safe hand/finger crack in the center of it, that protects well. Pull over a small roof (crux) and make easy moves to the top on solid sandstone. It gets one star for the adventure, not the rock quality.

Location Suggest change

From the parking area, walk south up Highway 65 for ~150 yards and follow the faint animal trail on the left side of the road to the top of the buttress. The tower is near the prominent corner of the buttress where the west facing and north facing walls intersect.

Protection Suggest change

Standard rack. Webbing and quick link on top, or downclimb Flue Cleaner.
