Just wondering if the spring is still running right at the base of the Regular Route. If so is the flow sufficient to pump a couple gallons? Thanks for the info.

Atop Mt. Teewinot, peak #1 of the Grand Traverse. The N. Face of the Grand beckons.

It's been a little over a month since I've been up there (last time was Aug 19th), but I would think that there's still some agua to be had. When I was last there, a slow seep was filling up a little pool right on the edge of the cliff. We probably only got 1-2 gallons out of it, and that didn't really make a dent, it certainly fills itself back up.

We used one water bottle to get water from the pool, and then used a t-shirt to filter the water as we poured it into our other water bottles. The water up there seems pretty clean, at least I haven't died yet...

If you're gonna be in the valley, you'll probably be able to get more up-to-date beta. Check at the mountain shop, around camp 4, or maybe at the SAR site.

Good Luck,
Scott
