Next time you have a hour or two after a a climb maybe pick up the trash beneath it. You might be surprised what you will fine.

Thanks for the community service John. I enjoy walking the base of Zion routes as well, but I have never been that lucky. Looks like some treasures in that pile.

Cleaning gear on rappel after solo ascent of P3 on Prodigal Sun.

The print-out in the trash pile of the topo for Prodigal Sun gives us the clue to which popular Zion route John was cleaning up under. I would note that some of the trash below Angel's Landing surely comes from ignoramus tourists who hike the trail to the top and then throw stuff over the edge for fun or because they don't want to carry it back down. A few weeks ago while on Prodigal Sun, I heard two or three empty water bottles bounce down the wall. I don't think the climbers above me were that careless or thirsty.
