| So I'm planning a wall trip to Yosemite and I've been watching the weather on two different web sites and they are very different.
What site do you all use?
I've been watching either
www.weather.com
or
www.accuweather.com
Thanks, Zac | |

| Here is another site for weather at Yosemite:
http://www.climbingweather.com/California/Yosemite-National->>>>>
ClimbingWeather.com uses specific latitude and longitude, taking into account elevation, for each climbing area covered. The forecast data comes from the National Weather Service Digital Forecast Database, the basis on which many weather sites determine their forecasts.
We're working on adding more areas, but for now, we have most of the major areas covered.

Highly regarded, and educational. Eastside oriented, but applies well to the valley.

| You can click here to view the Intellicast northern California radar loop. This will show you what precip is happening in the area, and sometimes gives you an idea if you're about to be dumped on in the next few hours, or knott.
It is very useful up here in the mid-latitudes of the Great White North as the precip tends to almost always come from the west, and you can watch it moving towards you and get an idea if you're about to be whacked in the next few hours, or knott. What you see around Yosemite is the precip can sometimes just sit, but it's still worth bookmarking the site.
