DescriptionThe large Dome with huge caves. You'll pass it if you head out to Mr. Lee's. It is approx. 2+ miles from Hwy 166 on the main road. The rock quality varies from bad to good. Never really gets great. However, you are in a wilderness setting, stunning surroundings, tons of routes, and easy approaches. If you like variety, and enjoy Pinnacles type rock, you'll enjoy your visit here. Please wear a helmet! There are now over 25 routes here. Most everything is between 5.6 and 5.10, with about 4 or 5 exceptions. Too hot to climb here in the summer - Go to Miller's or the Tor. Closes in the winter after rains (river crossing) and avoid up to a week after rains. Let the rock dry or you'll destroy the routes. Seriously. Getting ThereHead up the main road from Rock Front Ranch past Owl Tor, about 2+ miles and you can't miss it.
