Big Rig Boulder

Description 

This is a beautiful, massive, dark, and fully featured boulder lower down the hillside in the Wild Wood Area. Big Rig is mainly comprised with very dark Metamorphic Sandstone loaded with enormous to tiny dropstones, but also has green Sandstone faces. From steep roofs to slabby uppers, you’re going to find numerous angles and problems to suit any boulderers appetite.

I don't normally hand out a lot of 3-4 star ratings for GHSP just because I feel they should be reserved for pretty spectacular lines in each area. A few problems on this boulder deserve every star.

One of the best, and scariest moderates in Grayson.Sit start on the right side of the steepest section at the front side of the Big Rig Boulder (4ft to the right of the big block that sits to the left of the roof).The right start hand is a long sidepull crimp, the left crimps on a dropstone.
