Just curious why we are assigning safety rating to bouldering grades. I could be completely wrong but I thought safety ratings were created for trad climbing. I understand it can be used to describe the seriousness and danger involved with the problem but I think utimately it just creates confusion. Lets show some respect for the man who created the scale and leave V5 alone. The beauty of the v-scale is in its simplicity, just like the beauty of bouldering.

How is "PG-13"' "R"' and "X" confusing? These are grades just like any other grades to prevent people from getting in over their heads.

I agree with JJNS. Plus these are not the correct names for these problems as these problems were established a long time ago.
