Hi,
I want to do a big climbing trip through the Western US starting from beginning of June to the beginning of August. I am looking for partners that would be down to climb with me a part on this trip or for even longer or the whole trip!
I definitely want to go to Colorado, Oregon and Squamish, but I am open for other climbing hot spots too!
At the moment I can lead 5.10 a/b but I plan to improve that further withing the next two month in Yosemite, Joshua Tree or Red Rocks. I also would have quite some gear.

Would be great if something works out!
Justshoot me a pm!

Cheers,
Klaas

Hey man,

I'm planning on hitting the road in May and would definitely be down to meet somewhere and climb for a bit! I'm planning on heading to Southern California next week, but after that would be game to hit anywhere. Right now, I'm thinking of heading to Smith Rocks, Squamish, City of Rocks, ID; Yosemite, Red Rocks, and Bishop. I have to be in the Valley in mid-May for a volunteer thing so I'm hoping to spend a lot of time around there. PM me if you want to talk about this in more detail! I'd be up to caravan, as I camp out of my trusty outback.

Naimah, PM me as well! It'd be cool to get a nice ol' group going!

Best,

Mike

I might be interested in joining for part of the trip, its going to be HOT in those months though so here are some recommendations.......Ten Sleep or Lander area, Big Thompson Canyon, Vedauwoo, or anywhere else with high elevations!

Hello,
I am planning a post summer (sept-Nov) trip through the Midwest. I have asked for an AAC grant to supplement some of the cost so that would be awesome if that goes through but the trip goes regardless. I am looking to climbing in RMNP, Rifle, Moab, Zion, Grand Canyon, and finally Red Rocks. The purpose of the trip is to hit objectives to complete the AMGA prereqs for the Rock Guide Course. There will be efforts made to record much of the adventure (hopefully using a quad-copter) and complete a memoir on the trip about the ability for anyone who dreams of Rock Guiding to be able to go on this endeavor.
Planning for much of the trip is occurring and anyone interested to participate in all or some of the trip throw me a line and I'll tie you in.

The strong is good but this is a trad oriented trip so headspace is a must, although rifle will be all sport, its the headspace building area. Objectives are 5.10 and increase throughout the trip to 5.12 in Red Rocks.
If you are interested and want to participate in training im currently living in the front range colorado and am more then willing to work with you.

Hey Guys, I took May/June off work and I'm looking for partner(s) as well. I'm in the Idaho/Wyoming region. City of Rocks is great right now. I want to climb Wyoming in May "devils tower" and make my way to the black hills in South Dakota in June. I've climbed those spots you mentioned, they're awesome. But they will be HOT... Hope to hear back from you guys! jefffoley10@hotmail.com

Hey,
So I will start my trip probably June 10th and have to head back around July 30th. In this time I definitely will spend one week in Squamish and some days in Smith Rock. Everything else can be still changed :)
But at the moment as well because of hot weather I could imagine the following areas in this order:

1. Lumpy Ridge, CO
2. Rocky Mountains NP (RMNP), CO
3. Maybe Eldorado Canyon if not too hot or Big Thompson Canyon(CO) or Voadawoo(WY)
4. Smith Rock (OG), not long because probably rather hot.
5. Leavenworth (WA)
6. Squamish (Canada)
7. Lovers Leap (CA)
8. Yosemite/Tuolmne Meadows or The Needles or the Sierras (could also start there in June)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
