I'm sure you mean bouldering Mecca, right? Otherwise you will gets lots of posts about the moderate variation. ;)

I saw the thread buy wasn't sure what happened to the mini guide being discussed.

I was there a few years ago... Pretty cool with what looks to be unlimited potential. Out in the middle of nowhere though... I have a 2 page mini guide pdf I could email if you'd like.

Edited to add: The mini guide I have is the same one on the link previously mentioned (which I just noticed I started...)

I headed out there ~ 10 years ago when I learned about it through the LV grapevine. I think I used the referenced topo to get there but spent a lot of time hiking around and exploring. There were a few very nice problems but the rock quality was not that good at the time. Perhaps it has cleaned up in the meantime. I hope it has since the hueco features were plentiful! I was also a bit worried that Caliente has been identified as downwind of the old NV nuclear test site and exposed to the fallout. Maybe my worrying is unjustified after all those years but I don't normally carry a Geiger counter in my crashpad...
