Buenos Dias!
Each of the Hubers climbed out of the crib before they were 5 months old. Thomas a did sweet mantle. Alex heard about it so he did a mantle and then a flag. -sp

I've seen the video of that ascent. I think it's floating somewhere on the internet. What you don't see in the picture that is even more impressive is that it's something like -40 and the rock quality isn't great.

Before I clicked on the link, I was hoping to see a girl doing some DWS in a bikini or something. Cool pic with a great climber in it, but kind of anticlimactic. Mark Wyss

For a month or so now, my friends have been throwing around a term. It's called "Getting Ellenored". Basically, when a thread has some good stuff and then bam, in moments it's 5-10 posts longer with no additional information. This static causes the point to be lost. Any value whether information or comedy has disappeared and either needs reposted or is lost. It's not a thread killer in the purest sense but it's the most effective way to lose a thread I've yet seen. Even moreso than Yarp or bored kids in Laramie. This thread has been Ellenored.

Ellenor, for the new reigning thread slayer?

Good Call. I currently have a pic of the Cirque of the Unclimbables on the desktop but I am definitely considering a change.

..and check this pic once again carefully. She has the harness on backasswards! The gear loops are in front, the leg straps come up the front instead of the back side....what kind of 'ad' is this for anyway? It looks like a small 'whiz kid' harness too.
But like do I care? I just wanted to see the pic reposted again.

Well I'll be damned. There IS a biner on there... and the harness IS backwards. How ever did I miss that?

Not quite sure what you mean here, but it sounds like dis-respect for a guy who made an early ascent of the North face of the Eiger (with Dougal Haston), the first ascent of the Painted Wall in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and the only person ever to have climbed Mt. Kenya AND Kilimanjaro in a day.
