Description Suggest change

Ben An offers short and fairly easily reached routes in an idyllic mountain setting. The views from the crag are spectacular.

The rock is a richly pocketed mica schist.

Getting There Suggest change

Heading north on the A81 take the A821 at Aberfoyle. A few hundred feet before the Trossachs Hotel park in the parking lot. Hike up through the forest (following signs). The crags will be visible after about 15 mins walking.

From the car park hike up the hill for about 1500ft to the foot of the crags.
