Start of The Bear.

Description

Bedrock is host to a handful of quality routes. Stoneage Struggle is an area classic moderate. Barney's Crack is a great mixed line with an outstanding finger crack finish. Gorilla Crack is one of the best wide cracks around town and should not be missed. Or test your sandstone skills on Bedrock's Latest. There is a solid day of climbing at this little section of cliff, defininely worth checking out.

Getting There

Take the approach trail to the Watch Cyrstal, go left past the Byrd's area.

Bedrock's Latest 5.13  CO : Durango : ... : Bedrock
Ascend steep face climbing past bolts, then follow a steep thin crack up to another bolt and the anchor. This route used to be 5.12c, but over time holds have broken off making it much harder.See the comment below....[more]   Browse More Classics in CO

Anyone have info on the new(?) route to the left of Barney's Crack and to the right of Gorilla? Bolted with a single drilled angle. Maybe 12b?
