Hubbard Creek Road will cross Bear creek and the turn is right after. Bear Creek Road will switchback and climb steeply. At 3/4 mile mark use the pull out. Boulders are visible from the road.
Awesome...thank you so much.

Are there any other bouldering spots you could share besides Bear Creek and The Callahans in the area?

New to the site but lived in roseburg area my whole life and just recently been turned on to climbing.
I've never been to bear creek boulders but a friend and I have been bouldering at the honeycombs and also at colliding rivers on hot summer days

Thanks for the tip on Colliding Rivers...I'll check that out.
Are you talking about the Honeycombs out in eastern Oregon...past Steens?

If you're out that way check out the Bettermilks/Dairy Creek north of Riley...a lifetime of unclimbed boulders out there.

I'm not seeing Ren Ridge on any maps...can you point me in the right direction.
I'm actually living just outside of Drain so finding something near Elkton would be really great.
I have found a few decent looking boulders along Elk Creek already and have a few leads from some old-timers about areas to check out around here.
thanks again!

I'm unsure of any defined problems/routes out at colliding rivers but if you don't mind getting wet and doing some exploring there is some pretty fun stuff to play on. Some are over the water some aren't.

As far as honeycombs, it is a spot about 15 minutes east of Glide with a good amount of top rope, and sport routes and a half lava tube called the bouldering tube. Again I'm not aware of any actual problems but it's a good place to spend a summer day out of the sunshine
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
