DescriptionGreat beginner sport climbing area with many climbs from 5.8 -5.10. Throughout the day areas can change from sunny to shady so plan accordingly. Climbs have lots of interesting features like single finger pockets. At times it can be crowded due to the proximity to Boseman and it's short hike. Getting ThereFrom downtown Bozeman drive east on Main and merge onto the highway. Travel about 3 miles until you reach the Bear Canyon exit ramp. After exiting the highway take a right and the a quick left up towards Bear Canyon, follow this road for about 5 minutes until you reach the end/parking area. Hike up past Bear Canyon ski hill and continue on trail for about 10 min and after a camp spot look for a small trail on your left cross the creek on a large log and you should be right near the climbs.
