BD issues voluntary recall / inspection of 1.16 million carabiners!

Same inspection as the last BD recall. Is this a new set of manufacturing date stamps? I inspected my whole rack last time even if the date stamp was good.

Edit -- same date stamp numbers as the recall a few months ago. Last recall was from BD directly. This is from the government.

Yeah, I just got a notice from Amazon concerning some biners I bought there. On the one hand I applaud them for reaching out. On the other I'm thinking, "man, they're a bit behind the ball on this one."

Unless you bought your entire rack within the last year, odds are you hardly have any of these. The recall is only on carabiners manufactured since they moved production over to the US. CPSC is a little behind on this, this recall is months old (MEC had posters up in store a long time ago already).
