Does any one know what shape the BBQ at the jungle bivy is in? I had heard that it was in bad shape and if it still is I would like to bring up a replacement or fix it when I do the route this fall.

I saw it in April of this year and it seemed to be in useable condition.

Was up there 2 weeks ago and the grill is in usable shape. The gigantic hole in the bottom has been covered up with a sheet of metal. No charcoal up there but there is a spatula for your convenience.

Climbed this Spectacular line in the End of June. Heat wave upped the temps to 115. My first Zion climb!! Made for an epic out of body experience. End up schlepping over 50 liters of H20. :)
Jungle bivy BBQ was repaired and spatula left behind by Glenn Slatery 6/15/2013!
Enjoy.!!!

BBQ (bar-be-que) is what you eat (meat), a grill is what you cook it on.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
