BETA PHOTO: Batteries Not Included - West Face Dark Side Dome

Add Photo  Add Comment    Printer View

Description

Even steeper giant knobs! Too bad the steep bit isn't longer.

Just right of a pair of beautiful trees, look for a fixed pin in a left facing roof/corner thing. Undercling out right and power past large steep knobs and four bolts. Lower angle 5.4 runout past two more bolts.

Pretty sustained from the pin to the third bolt with a definite crux moving past the first bolt.

Location

Just left of Who's the Bosch on the right side of Dark Side Dome's West Face.

Protection

Six 3/8" bolts with SMC hangers and a pin, likely the original hardware, but still in decent shape. Two bolt belay / rappel anchor. One single 60 meter rope rappel.
