Of some interest to climbers is at least one artificial climbing wall and the high point of the country.
One climbing wall is located within the US Navy base in the Juffair area of the capitol city of Manama.
The high point of the country, Jabal ad Dukhan, is about 440 feet in elevation and located about 40 minutes south of Manama.
