does anyone know where i can find some information about traveling, climbing, and route bata for the baffin islands especially on Asgard

it's island, not islands.

Track down people that have climbed up there. I'd ask Mark Synott, some googling should get you in touch without too much stress. Seems like a cool guy who would share info he has and point you in the right direction. You'd be amazed who will help you out if you're psyched and serious.

Pangnirtung is the closest town to fly into before the two week hike into asgard. Before that most people fly into Iqaluit. Its about 3000 dollars round trip. Contact Doug Dickens @ doug@climbthreshhold.com. He established the route "The Experience," with Brian during a Geology Expedition to determine the age of the major formations and the amount of time that they have been released by the glaciers there. Groundbreaking work.
