BETA PHOTO: An easy route on Backbone East. No idea which one...

The East side of the "bone" is scrubbier, more adventurous climbing. If you like sketchy crack climbs and chimneys check out the climbs on this side.

Getting There

Follow park road East up to the pull out at the Backbone trail head. Walk South to a crude stairway. Head down to access the cliff base.

Can we get a better description of the approach? How far down the backbone trail before turning into the "crude stairway", and then what? There are multiple crude stairways going down from the top of the ridge. I spent about an hour today looking for climbs on the east and west side, with no luck.
