Description 

The Atlantis Area covers the immensely popular Atlantis Wall, Minotaur Wall, Santa's Workshop, Tire Tread Wall and more. Not all of the formations get as crowded as Atlantis on a busy weekend so take the time to explore a little and you may just find a quiet area and some new favorites.

Getting There 

Approach from the end of the Ranger Station Road (customary) or from the parking area at the Real Hidden Valley. Either way involves easy hiking on level ground and no more than a 10-20 minute hike depending upon where you park.

Men with Cow's Heads 5.5  CA : Joshua Tree National Park : ... : Atlantis Wall - Right

Men With Cow's Heads takes the right-hand (more or less straight up) crack of the prominent Y-shaped crack formation in the middle of the Atlantis Wall. (Solar Technology (5.6) is the left-slanting crack).This climb protects well and would make a great beginner TR or lead.Another crack splits off to the left about 2/3 of the way up this climb.
