DescriptionA significant granite cliff in Armonk, NY, ranging from 30-80 ft. This area has had climbers visiting since at least the 1950's however recently the land was posted as no trespassing and violators will be prosecuted. The climbs here were regularly climbed and offered some amazing routes up to 5.13. This area is sorely missed but the Access fund and other climbers are currently working on opening access to the area... Getting ThereCLOSED CRAG. We used to park on Byram lake rd. just across 684, cross the road and follow the trail up and right to the cliff. Start in the center of the cliff just to the right of the 5.8 where there is one large ear shaped hold and a large blank wall. Mantle onto the ear, tricky reachy moves straight up to a sloping bar, move upwards through very thin holds to a big side pull just right of small dihedral, move up & right through gastons and cimpers (2 vertical seams) to a diagonal seam with pocket.
