Description

Easier after the first 15 feet but sustained and steep long but safe fall potential. In 1988 we had two starts to this route. The left is 5.11 and the right is 5.11+. The right start now has an independent finish. The line is called Climb Spree and is still 11+.

A new start that begins below the crack (Crime and Punishment) and uses small holds to reach the same good ledge as the original start. Not any easier but if you are sick of the original start it is different. Clip the first bolt of the route then come down and start to the left.

Location

Just right of Crime and Punishment.

Protection

New bolts added to the starts and anchors at the lip to reduce rope wear for those that lead it. Can be top-roped by using the old anchors but wears on the rope a little. You can rap to new anchors from old ones.

fun climb. Hidden holds throughout make it a lot easier. nice big holds for the most part with the crux at the beginning. if your tall you can skip the .11 part and deadpoint the rail strait up. i'm about 6.4 and i didn't need to jump or anything. otherwise the start is a bouldery .11. all these climbs are great to push yourself on because they are all air and the rock is fantastic.

Did this route again yesterday and thought "why do I only give this thing 2 stars ?...it's great...good moves, action all the way, (chains could be longer though !)". So now I give it 3.
