Hello there,

I am looking to find some partners in the Tucson area. I have a few weeks off and no partner. I know I can go to J-tree and find partners, but I have been there many times and would prefer to climb around Tucson at Mt. Lemmon, the Stronghold, and if someone is psyched, the long routes in the Catalinas. I have climbed a bit in Tucson, but would like to do more.

I lead 5.10 and commonly fall off 5.11. I have been climbing for 14 years and am very safety conscious. I prefer gear routes, but like sport climbing also.



I will be traveling from Colorado early next week (Wednsday 23rd).

Anyone know if climbing Tamo is possible?

I will be in the Tucson area until next Monday (Jan 28th) on vacation. I am really hoping to get to do some climbing in Cochise on this trip. I have been to Lemmon 4 times already this month, and am really hoping to do some longer stuff. I have been climbing and studying climbing for 8 months but have many years of mountaineering/MTB/skiing experience, feel solid on 5.9's here and have climbed some 10a's and b's. I am working on my trad skills, so I am very happy to follow, clean, and learn, preferably on one of the long but easier trad lines in Cohcise. I have a bunch of gear, a rope, and access to a car. I was planning on hiking around there tomorrow and checking it out with my Uncle who is also in town (not a climber, but very fit) but if you are up for it we could reschedule as I would much prefer to climb.
