Word to the wise. Last weekend Mr. X and I went out to the Waterfall. The creek was higher than we had ever seen. Ended up taking off shoes and socks and wading across. It was fairly deep, even in the most shallow and calmest place we could find (mid-thigh on me! BRRRR!!)

Also, although we saw nothing that looked remotely like poison ivy, it must have been there. Mr. X is suffering. Somehow I lucked out.

yeah, I was there a week ago, it was thigh deep for me for quite a ways, very cold. The poison ivy is no leafy so it is not easy to spot, but the limbs are still there. I had a few itches here and there. Rock is worth it.

Wow, poor Mr. X, he should really have that looked at...
