Has anyone been out to the Hieroglyphic Canyon trailhead recently?

I was mainly wondering whether the access was still gud...I recall having to park in a culdesac of undeveloped lots, things may have changed since?

I figured that's what you were wondering.

What about this big dirt lot shown in the sattelite photo at the east end of Cloudview?
Have to get out there and see unless someone comes up with the goods on here before then.

I loved the Needles of the <br />Southern Sierra. The route is Don Juan Wall 11b, this shot was taken by a hard woman just before my manly fall.

I haven't been back since the FA and always wanted to return to add a bolt or two to the start. The first part was the R and the finger crack (use tape) above was the crux hard 11 moves. I just ran it out. I thought it was a single long pitch but I may be wrong; getting old and forgot. I recall there was an old anchor already up there and the top was very very full of loose blocks. If you are going, take photos.
