Does anyone have any beta or a reccomendation on access for Hermit Peak. I emailed LA mountaineers but got no response

Id like to climb there just afraid of locals Is there access?

Park your car at the trailhead in El Porvenir Canyon and and hike on in. The locals shouldn't screw with your stuff like they can up around Truchas. The campground is nice if you want to stay for the weekend. Have fun up there--we did when putting up routes.

I have worked in Northern NM since 1997 and seen some strange behavoir lots of alcohol and drugs. What routes did you put up is there any multi pitch routes there?
