Anyone know the status of planning for a beanfest this fall? Is there a designated Beanmaster? And if so, is there anything the rest of us in the S. Arizona climbing community can help out with?

Tanya Ayers is the Beanmistress for this fall's event. I sent an email the other day asking whether a date's been chosen yet. She's been too buried to give it much thought but it looks like late October or early November will be the timeframe.

I'm sure there will be a list of items needed, from food to ice to firewood, and all of the stuff associated with preparing a bean-burrito feast for 50 or so people.

If I hear anything before anyone else does, I'll be glad to post it.

We did get a dog but she won't mind the spooning. She's very cuddly.. you two will get along just fine. ;)
