| I'm hoping to climb at Sweet Rock on Saturday and the Zappa Dome on Sunday during Beanfest, but I've never been to the east side of the Stronghold. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get from the Sheepshead area, where we'll be camping, to the Zappa Dome?
Thanks! | FLAG |

| Middle March pass would be shortest and probably quicker than going out to the paved road and around to the east side. | FLAG |

| Thanks, Bill. And from there, how do I get to Zappa? The directions on here assume one is approaching from the paved road. | FLAG |

| Once you are over the pass on Middle March road, you will descend and exit the national forest property. You'll come to a T intersection. Turn left and start looking for S Desert Road. Take that north and it becomes N Desert Road. N Desert Road intersects with Ironwood Road. Turn left (west) and take that all the way to the entrance into the East Stronghold. There is a road off to the right that goes up to the crags directly. If you go to the big boulder in the middle of the main road, you've gone too far. Zappa is close to NightStalker but up that canyon a little ways. Google Middle March pass AZ and you'll see where Middle March comes out on the east side. Hope this helps. | FLAG |

| Brigette - Check this map out and it should give you a general idea, starting with Middlemarch Rd. in the lower left corner.
