Does anyone know where "Cochise Mountain" is? I remember when I was a little kid driving to San Diego from Texas and my dad and uncle trying to show me the indian lying on top of the mountain. They said you can see his head dress, nose and feet sticking up towards the sky. It would have to be seen facing West and we were several miles from the mountain range (from what I remember). Planning a trip out west again and would like to spend some time in the area.

That is on Forest Service land North of Chiracahua National Monument near Wilcox AZ I think they call it Cochise head. Say hi to the trail crew in the Monument camped at Pinery. Good luck.
