Description

This part of Sullies is more of a top-rope area and is popular with beginners, but there is plenty to do for climbers of all abilities. Routes are shorter than those found in Lower Sullivan's, but most can be led if you want. Plenty of natural anchors can be made just about anywhere along the rim. DO NOT PLACE BOLTS IN THIS CANYON.

Getting There

Located off Old Highway 89 about 5 miles north of Chino Valley or 1/2 mile south of Paulden. Take hwy 89 turn onto Old Highway 89 to a point where the road crosses over the Verde river. Park in a lot on the east side of the road south of the river. Hike east along the rim, rap or hike in.
