The Puzzle Box is a beautiful roof with some of the finest climbing at the Draw, nearly horizontal at its base and easing gradually in steepness. There are close to a dozen established problems here from V5 on up, including area classics Puffer Fish, The Hermit, and the long testpiece Cosmic Tricycle. The atmosphere, rock quality, and climbing are all superb, making this a highly recommended stop when visiting the Draw. Beware of sloping landings and some dirty topouts.
Getting There
From the main parking area, hop the wooden fence and walk along the metal fence surrounding the aspen grove. Continue along a faint trail into a side draw and the Puzzle Box will appear shortly up on the right side. Approach 2 minutes.
