Description

Sitting up on the side of a hill in Howard's Draw is the excellent little sibling of the Anorexic Roof, Bad Ass. Bulletproof limestone with incredible features and great pockets houses two classic roof problems, Bad Ass, one of the best moderate roofs at the Draw, and the much more difficult Stinky Ass. There are also a couple linkups and variations. And, as a bonus, Howard's Draw tends to stay quieter on weekends, so this is a good place to come to escape the masses.

Getting There

Follow the main trail into Priest Draw until a number of trails split off to the left toward Howard's Draw and the Island. Follow the trail out Howard's Draw for a few minutes until you can see the obvious chalked-up Bad Ass Roof to the right, slightly up on the side of a hill. Approach time a bit over 10 minutes. Alternately, from Anorexic/Monster Roof walk across the draw and directly over the hill to descend almost on top of Bad Ass Roof - five minutes from Anorexic.
