Willow Canyon is home to a number of rather obscure crags and pinnacles. Almost all routes face south/southeast, so expect sun most of the time. A nice variety of both sport and gear routes can be found here on rock of varying quality.
NOTE: This area has been added to maintain consistency with Squeezing the Lemmon II
Getting There
From Rose Canyon Lake: hike south from the west end of the small dam. A faint trail contours along Rose Peak, bringing you out on top of Rose Hill Crag. Continue down this ridge to reach the rest of the Willow Canyon crags.
This area actually has a ton of routes not listed here. Check out Squeezing the Lemmon II for more information. Also, a little tip about finding the right trail...you should be moving west along the south edge of the lake. Make sure you go past the dam. There is another well defined trail right before the dam that can lead you astray. This area is not heavily used and has 30 routes mostly 5.10 and up, but a few below that.
