Being somewhat unfamiliar with aid ratings I took the grade from efr's guide and the name of the route, however i thought that the placements were all very good.
Just to note: I was not an aid climber when I did the first ascent of My Precious on lead. The actual goal was to do it free. The gear that has been swinging for over thirteen years was there for the free ascent, it is not fixed. Just got busy with real life and never made it back due to not being strong enough to attempt the free lead. Actually, I thought someone would have freed it years ago! Is it A2?, well that depends on what book you read, what video you have watched and who is with you with experience at the time. If it is A1 by consensus then the rating should be lowered; just keep in mind that the hanging gear is not fixed gear it was to practice for the free ascent, if that makes any difference.
