BETA PHOTO: Fear of Frying

Description

Big holds followed by alot of little ones. First half of route is pretty vertical if not just a little overhangy in some spots. Follow bolts up to chains on left. Look at the view to your left from here. Spectacular!

Location

First route with bolts on right side of wall.

Protection

At lest ten quick draws and a long rope, chains are over 80ft off the ground.

PG-13??? This is a really safe sport route that is a great warm up for the harder routes to the left or the really nice cracks to the right. There is a section that doesn't have a bolt every body length, but you can easily plug a cam or two to make it super safe. As some people keep bumping up the ratings on older routes, others seem to be exagerating the seriousness of routes. If this is PG-13, what routes are not? Also, I think EFR put this up with Kevin? or maybe John? EFR might remember although he is getting quite old...

I'm with Eric on this one. I always thought this was a well bolted, very safe sport route.

allow me to add to the comments from a year ago. this route probably has even more bolts than necessary. with a light rack you could easily skip a bolt or two.

More importantly, it is definitely not 83 feet to the top of this route. The midpoint of a 60M rope was two feet away from my belay device just as my partner reached the anchors. If you lower someone on a 50M rope on this route you will probably drop 'em.
