BETA PHOTO: Quartz Band Boulder

Description

When driving up the Catalina Highway the Quartz Band Boulder is visible as one rounds the corner. It is the large boulder with a diagonal quartz band leaning against the hillside slightly left of the rest of the boulders. A couple of problems are on the uphill face.

Getting There

To get there from the crest of the hill on the hike in, angle left uphill following drainage to a slab then go around to the left to access the main arete and face.
