Scott Drawz on Talk of the Nation at the Trundling...

Description

Beautiful climb located 25 feet right of Take Apart the Robots. Look for a vertical seam/weakness that heads towards a prominent right-facing corner capped by a roof. More overhangs and roofs await above, ending at the anchors. (Squeezing the Lemmon quality scale: 2 out of 3 stars)

Location

Toward the right end of the wall.

Protection

Bolts.

Braxton,
EFR and I put up that route a few years ago. Can't remember what we called it.

The super thin slab fest to it's immediate left is 5.12. EFR's the only one who has red pointed it so far. Can't remember the name of this one either.

Braxton,
That's the picture of Scott Drawz from the time we all went down there. We should find out what he's been up to lately...

I don't remember putting up the route in the photo at all. I will go check my guidebook updates and get the names for it and the one to the left.

Slab fest to the left is called Slip Service. The route Scott is on I have no information about. I know we climbed it but I don't remember drilling it. Usually all the info goes in the book if we did it. You might want to check your cerebral hard drive for errors Jimbo. I know yours is better than mine but I think that the pictured route is an SA route.

You know when you've been climbing without a helmet a long as I have it's no wonder I get confused sometime. I was pretty impressed with myself that I recognized the route at all.
Eric is indeed correct we only did the 5.12. I think I spent so much time sliding off the crux on the slab that it just felt like we did several routes of work there. (Or was that a route in Tennessee??)
Scott did indeed do the .10+ route in the photo.
So sorry to all the masses who are now totally confused and may never be able to find the route they want on Troll Wall.

All things considered, I believe it's called "Talk of the Nation"
