EFR at the crux.

Description

Hard moves into and off of an undercling. The move is not intuitive and has thwarted many an onsight specialist. As with most routes at this crag the crux is down low but it is well protected. This route is hard to impossible if you are below 5'6". We have painted a yellow line at the bottom, if you can't touch it ignore this rating. (Just kidding)!

Location

Just right of Ruby Slippers. The first moves lead to a pronounced undercling.

Protection

Bolts

I love thrashing on routes knowing I have the "short" excuse in reserve! ;)

Having finally met you in person Hillary I know that it is a valid excuse. As Wing put it the route is rated 5.11I for impossible. At least you tried. I am 5'6" and can just make the reach.

Took me awhile before I realized the key hold was right in front of my face...

When was this climb put up? When I did it late last spring, I assumed it had been up for more than a few weeks/months.

Oops. I must have this route confused with another one on the same wall, since I didn't climb here any later than April last year...
