PG 13?? The branch would be more of an issue for the V8 to the left of this problem, but not an issue for this climb. They don't make landings better than this one, and it's not tall.

The climbing is good though. One exceedingly sharp hold. In my opinion, the right variation is a little more fun.

Putting PG13 on boulder problem ratings seems unecessary. Falling off of just about anything over head height could be risky, which is what PG13 means. If injury is certain then it get's an R. In order to hit a branch you'd have to do a flying back-flip off of the top which is not very likely. This problem is no more dangerous than any other problem on this boulder.

in rock climbing, it's probably better to be safe than sorry. considering it from the perspective of someone who may have never been to this boulder, it might not be such a bad thing that they get a heads up concerning the height of it.

i wouldnt lose too much sleep over it being posted as such...

The only reason I put the PG13 on this problem was to "warn" people about the possiblity of hitting the branch. And your right Mr. Prewitt about it being a bit unnecessary, but as Mr. Fowls said "it's better to be safe than sorry". Plus a fall from the top and you could land on that poor branch/tree. And I'm sure that we can all agree that wouldn't be fun.
