Description

This could fairly be named "Bush in your Face" because that's exactly how this one ends. If you're in the mood for a quick, dirty, nasty crack with a rough ending, this one's for you. It might be rewarding. Scramble up the east side of Hairpin Rock to an obvious crack with a line of bolts. Difficulties start as you enter the crack system. This is the fun pumpy part of the route. Cruise through with some decent jams and then get ready for some dirt in the eyes. Pull through on some awkward moves to a final slabby push and a surprise for you at the top.

Protection

5 quickdraws, small stoppers or 1 small cam will give a little comfort before last bolt. Two bolts at top

Bolted crack? Sounds like something we should move away from.

ac,

i am partially in agreement with you on the bolted crack issue for this particular route. this is the only route in the area that i know of (not saying much) that is of such debate. i could see here where two bolts protect areas of an unprotected nature...sandy, weak crack system. but where the cleaner crack is, there are (obvious) solid placements.

This route is actually across the canyon on Hairpin Rock and not on Left Hand Wall.
