Description

The Big Pine Towers are a group of short towers in the Rupley Tower area. If you can climb hard enough, there are routes on both sides that will let you chase sun or shade. These towers have mostly hard routes, but there are several short, sustained moderate routes as well.

Getting There

Park at the nice big new pullout for the Rupleys just downhill from the Windy Point Vista around mile 14.2. Go down the ugly scree-strewn slope angling to your left towards the short towers in front of Rupley Tower A.

The easiest way to approach Big Pine and the Rupley Towers is to walk down the road about 150ft. from the pullout and then follow a trail straight down the hill.
