Pulling hard on the sharp holds above the roof and...

Description

Start off with a fairly sequential (seems like everyone does it different) bouldery-style section that gets you to the roof, then pull up and get holds above, then pull like hell. Once you get established above the roof, the climbing eases.

Location

Just right of the very popular Mickey Goes To Vegas is a good sized roof. This route goes right over this roof.

Protection

5 bolts to shuts.

This climb is great fun. There's a great, thin crux down low, and then there's the bouldery roof. The huge incut jug you are making the big reach off the smaller "jugs" for is surprisngly finicky in my experience. More to the left, it really provides a lip to grip. Also, I've seen some people really flag out right at this higher crux, but I attack it straight on, bringing both feet over the roof before throwing for the jug. Variety is the spice of life!
