A veiw of GM from Dave's Arch

Description

Dave's Arch is a small quarzite arch in the basin west of GM. There are a handfull of steep problems on the north side and a few others on the other. The rock is sharp and the holds (finding them) could be quite confusing compared to Groom. This is adventure bouldering at its finest. It is not the place you go to work a proj. It is the unique nature and placement of this arch which make it worthwhile jaunt if you have nothing else to do.

Getting There

From Prescott, drive past Granite basin Rd. for about 5.5 miles down the hill. There will be a dirt road on the rt. Take this and then take the first right into a parking/camping area. Drive to the end of this and park. Hop the fence and then hike south along a shallow wash up to the rocks.

All the obvious lines on this wall have been bouldered. Some damn exciting climbing to be had.
