DescriptionBrown's peak is the tallest and northern most of the four peaks. Fractured rock with lots of holds and places for pro, but also plenty of loose rock. There is also a scramble to the top of Browns peak so expect plenty of hikers on weekend days. Getting ThereFollow the directions for Four Peaks Wilderness to the Lone Pine Saddle trail head. Follow the trail up the railroad ties on a good trail which wanders up towards the peaks for 2.5 miles or so. A trail continues to the base of the class 2 Hikers gully. Plan on at least 2.5 hours from central Phoenix to the base/start of the hiker's gully.
