Description

Start from below a roof in the middle of the Dome.
1) do a tricky mantle with a bolt to a shelf (5.11-).
2) Follow roof left to a bolt then up discontinuous cracks to face above, climbing past 4 bolts to easier ground (5.10R).

Location

Center of Stronghold dome. SG has climbed the second pitch with 3 bolts, but rapped down and added a 4th so the route might get done.

Protection

standard rack

Hey, I was in on this ;-)
I think...
Ok, I was a cheerleader...
Pure Grossman lead.

I think Peter belayed and I got to laze around in the sun.
But following it in the fading light had it's moments.

I recall a pretty good climb...
Not for a gym 11er though.

Jeez, I'd forgotten all about this climb.
Must have been pre/post BeanFest...
In fact, I think it might have been my beanmaster one...
