Beautiful approach with several single pitch ice and mixed routes in a beautiful secluded amphitheater. The main flow is quite wide and can accommodate 3-4 parties.

Getting There

Park as for the Frankenstein area. The trails starts from the railroad tracks just left of the house at the end of the road (the trail is marked). Hike through the woods following the Arethusa Falls trail to the amphitheater.

Descend by hiking down around through the woods to either the right or left of the falls.

Climbing Season

For the Frankenstein Ice Climbs area.

Weather station 8.8 miles from here
