When you first pull into 74, you will wonder if the state park system loves climbers. They seem to have paved a sidewalk to all the problems on the main wall area for us all to enjoy. Once you go up the steps into the woods of the hidden areas, you will start to feel at home in the woods of Arkansas. Smell the scent of ancient moss and leaf litter as you walk casually through the most dense bouldering area this state has to offer. Please shut the fence behind you when you leave. Please remember that ratings and stars are subjective. Enjoy!

Sandstone bouldering area about an hour from Fayetteville. Pockets, crimps, Fountaine slopers, one move wonders to deadly highballs, it has a lot of everything. Most (90%) of the climbing is on state land. "Across the Road" and "Leviathan"(omitted on this site per access issues) areas have sensitive access. So please tread lightly and pack out any trash you find or bring. The property owner is building a house in view of the climbing so be good. Thank you!

This is considered Southeastern rock, so the season generally runs from Mid-September through March. This area does not see a lot of traffic as of yet. The occasional redneck might come through with a rusted out truck saying “Y’all cain’t climb ‘at, it hangs backerds,” but pay them no mind.
