Anyone ever try to retrofit a petzl pick onto a BD tool?

Looking to throw a good water ice pick onto my fusions for the times im strictly on ice. I know Bd has the titan for alpine and the laser for WI, however, I really like the picks I used to have on my quarks. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my fusions as a tool, and specifically for dry tooling, however I do enjoy my ice. The fusion pick displaces too much ice. Takes a couple swings in hard ice to set it well. It hooks good, just normally breaks off plates of ice. I have climbed with cobras the past two seasons and really likes those picks, however still think my older quarks were on the money as far as picks go (tools aside). I did some photo comparison, and it seems like it may be possible. Just wondering before I try it, if anyone can save my the time and tell me if its possible or not.

If not, I'll just use the lasers for WI, and the fusions for mixed and alpine.

Also if anyone wants to donate some old used petzl picks to the cause, I would gladly pay shipping, and then afterwards if you wanted a set of retrofit petzl picks for BD tools, I'll gladly modify them for you.

I do have metal experience as I weld and MFG different tools and such.

Yea I probably will. However I would need a couple old beat up petzl picks to work on. So if anyone has any picks, dont throw them out. Contact me!! I'll pay the shipping, even a couple bucks for the pick itself if you want so you have some spare cash to put towards a new set
